The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has participated in a groundbreaking ceremony to inaugurate the first-ever FAB Expansion Area (FEA) in the municipality of Samal, Monday morning.
The event served as a signal for the start of many site and infrastructure developments inside the Samal Ecozone, led by the High Tech-Global Cement Corporation Ecozone.
The Samal Ecozone is said to be a significant instrument for progress, where various companies, businesses, and industries are expected to flourish, providing many opportunities for the residents of Samal and neighboring towns.
The ceremony was attended by AFAB Marketing Chief Kelvin Rae Rodriguez, Samal Municipal Mayor Alexander Acuzar, PGO Consultant Godofredo Galicia, Jr., Bataan Board Member Atty. Antonino Roman III, Michelle Caraig – Community Affairs Officer of the Provincial Government of the Bataan, leadership of the High Tech-Global Cement Corporation Ecozone, and representatives from the Provincial Government of Bulacan.
The groundbreaking event marks a promising start for the Samal Ecozone, which is expected to bring economic growth and development to the region.
The AFAB and other local government officials expressed their commitment to support the success of the Samal Ecozone project and its future endeavors.
